I'm using version 0.6, it doesn't run Chrono Trigger very well. Do any of the other versions play Chrono Trigger decently? I can't find a compatibility list.

I'm using the Games n' Music cart to run this on. I've followed all the directions and still can't get it to work properly. It will load up just fine, but it won't list the ROM I have on the cart. Everything is in the proper directories and it still doesn't recognise the ROM.
Does the problem lie in the fact that I'm using Games n' Music, which is a slot-1 device? If so, what is a slot-2 device I can use and how do I get one? Does it HAVE to be a slot-2 device?

When the emulator asks me to find a ROM, nothing at all appears except blackness. I simply cannot load any ROMS. And I've noticed a couple of other people on this thread having this problem, but nobody seems to address it, probably because nobody really understands this techy tech stuff....at least the NES emulator works though.

Once, again, great job with this emulator!:D
I'm anxious to see what the next veriosn will have!

Well, I seem to have a dilema. Actually, it's pretty much the same as my previous problem.
You stated before that you thought it was because of a bad dump.
Well..... my question is:
WHERE can I find the good dump? I can't find one at all:(

If anyone has a dump that actually let's you keep armor on whenever you switch stages, PLEASE tell me:) I'll give you my e-mail address and hopefully you can e-mail it to me:)

The only rom that works fluidly with my M3Simply is Street Fighter 2 Turbo. I can honestly say every other rom I've played is choppy in gameplay and sound.

Thanks for all the hard work. I can't wait for the version that will work perfectly! =D

I wish I were here to be praising this emu right now, but unfortunately it just broke on me = (
It was working just fine earlier today (and by the way, I was very VERY impressed to see that I could save on my EZFlash4) but while cleaning (organizing) my SD card, I moved and renamed the program and/or the roms and it threw everything off. The problem is that I CAN'T figure out why I can't get it to work again. I put everything back where they all go, and it keeps either giving me the "can't find roms" bull crap, or it freezes after saying "rompath = /SNES," "intializing FS," or "FS OK". What's pissing me off is that it was working just fine earlier, and it was the new one, too. I was playing Chrono Trigger (I fought the robot, so that's right after the old glitch.) Does anyone know what the hell is going on? I was praising this emulator earlier today, but now I can't get it back on.

i came from the psp side and had just started looking around for good homebrews and i must say SNEmulDS is one of the most excellent. one of which i will continuously check updates to. i hope this is not too much, but i want to suggest, may be for the next release, a fix or support for other directory structure that SNEmulDS uses for it roms. i tried editing the cfg file and set the ROMPath to another one but it still looked in the /SNES/ folder. the reason i wanted this support is because i wanted to organize my files in the micro sd card, having to put everything on the root folder somehow makes things messy. one suggestion for this is like how ComicBookDS locates files, it doesn't let you set the path for the files but instead, it searches beginning from the root for any files related to it, and shows it all in one neat album when you start it up.

sorry for the long crap. and more power to this app.

I already posted a comment, but I just had to gloat. :P

It sure seems like us MMD users have less problems than the people with lesser-known products.

To rich, are you talking about save states or SRAM?
If it's about SRAM, I can't help, it won't work for me and I don't need it anyway.
If it's about the save states, could you be more specific? The first thing in my mind is that your touch screen is weird.

And archeide, I would REALLY appreciate a version where I don't have to re-calibrate the touchscreen every couple touches. Mario and Wario is giving me problems because it always goes off. And Superscope games would be cool. I've always wanted to try Yoshi's Safari.

Don't be giving up any time soon.

Thanks for your hard work.

At last A decent snes emulator, Work near perfect.

I Have a REQUEST if it's possible to give full control of the layer including sprite by the cfg file and add multiple custom layer setup in the layer option menu

A lot of game would run perfectly with those add (like earthbound)

Thank a lot

@Sithlord48 (post 55):
1. That's what "Wait Vblank" does. It's more noticeable in v0.4 though.
2. That's what "Save SRAM" does - it saves the Super Nintendo's SRAM to a *.srm file on your card.
4. Not possible like was already stated, as the Nifi protocol has not been figured out yet.

@MegaMan X Master (post 76): I think it was determined that that's due to a bad dump of the game or something. Try redownloading it from another site.

Hi there. I have a problem. Im probably doing something wrong, but SNEmlDS wont run. I tried 0.4, 0.5a, and 0.5a2 none of them work. they all give me the no rom found error.

im running a ds lite with a SuperCard SD (1GB). DSOrganize and Moonshell 1.71 both run fine on my rig. SuperCard has most recent firmware.

any help would be appreciated.

Theres only 1 reason I want a Flash Cart, That reason is Yoshi's Island, I loved that game, and I know it uses a special chip that means it doesnt work, but is there any way that I could play it? Is there any hope that we will be able to emulate the SuperFX chip? If anybody, anywhere knows any info please email me at:

atimpanoster at gmail dot com

I know that nintendo have remade it as a gba game, but im always dissapointed with gba remakes, They always change the title screens, intros, and adding side games etc. doesnt feel genuine to me, doesnt bring back the memories.

Please somebody help.

I like this alot! :D There's only a few problems:

The screensize would be nice if it could be resized to fit the DS screen. I didn't know about yblaknk positioning (whatever it's called) and I ended up falling in pitfalls I couldn't see! (Hidden). :P

Also... Kirby's Dream Land 3 doesn't work! :(

Either way, GOOD JOB! :D
