Rumble users, there is a solution for you…

March 1st, 2007

It seems that some people have found a solution to make SNEmulDS and other homebrews (like picodriveds) work on their Supercard rumble.

Thanks to juliobbv and sallaboy from the pocketheaven forum…

Quote from sallaboy:
Anyway, this were my actions:
-Downloaded DSOrganize 2.5: http://www.dragonminded.com/ndsdev/DSOrganize_2_5.zip
-Copy all the files with the directory to the DS card (I didn’t patch
DSorganize!!!)
-Start *.NDS or *sc.NDS file.
-go to “BROWSE” and start the SNEmuDS version 0.4 (patched with
sclt.dldi file)
-it takes time to start it.

By the way, the same way I succeded to run PICODRIVEDS (emulator
for genesis) the latest version. The games are a little bit slow but it worth
it.

Accordind from juliobbv, you can use Moonsheel instead:

P.S. Forget DSOrganize to boot SNEmulDS, use Moonshell 1.6 instead. It boots homebrew instantly and it seems to work with other homebrew that didn’t work before.

To install it, run the setup, select the letter that corresponds to the SD card, select Supercard lite and after that click setup. Wait while it copies the files to the card and run moonshell on the DS.

the SNEmuDS you patched with sclt.dldi file, how did you patch it?
I don’t see the supercard rumble version of sclt.dldi file. Did you use the supercard lite sclt.dldi file?

    Thanks.

Neither of these methods work for me either.

Using DSOrganiser I get the following message ‘Initialising FAT. Interface: GBAMP. Please wait, booting your file.’ Followed by ‘For some reason, the file was not loadable’.

I can launch moonshell 1.6 but when i select any homebrew file I get the message ‘not support adapter?’. I have tried launching SNEmulDS both unpatched and patched with the Supercard Lite patch sclt.dldi.

I have the same problem. :(

Here is some more info in case any other rumble users look here.

A new firmware (1.81) was released by Supercard and this has the following change log: Fixed homebrew can not be boot problem in v1.80

I am now using firmware 1.82. This can boot SNEmulDS from the Supercard memory and show the ROMs list. When a ROM is selected, I get the ‘Press START to launch ROM’ message after the ROM info. When I press start, the top screen remains white and the bottom screen has the SNEmulDS menu. I patched SNEmulDS with the SuperCard Lite (SD Card) DLDI patch.

    All,
please, I need some help with my nintendo Ds: I tried to put this emulator in my Nintendo DS, but it didn’t work. Told me that I had to put a SNES directory in the root. The problem is that I put it with all my roms .smc, but even so it didn’t work. I tried to patch the emulator, I tried to enter with the DSOrganize, but… it didn’t work…
I have a simple Supercard with SD slot and a passkey

    What can I do???!!!
